While JAGUAR series, web cache product,
were initially developed to target ISPs which want network
bandwidth saving and resolution of network bottlenecks
and also government organizations or enterprises which
use their own private networks, many big contents providers
including portal sites, online shopping malls, files download
and music service sites also became customers of JAGUAR
series due to our continuous sales promotion activities.
While web cache products are for contents quality improvement
of CP(Contents Provider) in an environment where network
infrastructure is well established, they are for network
bandwidth saving and resolution of network bottlenecks
in an environment where network infrastructure is not
yet well established such as in Turkey or Malaysia. In
addition, they can interoperate with SmartDNS, a broadband
load distribution solution for web CDN service.
The total solution ARA-NMP (Network Monitoring Platform),
installed in the middle of a network, can monitor all
the traffics passing through the network and perform multiple
roles with application servers on top of it. ARA-NMP can
deal with all the processes without an additional device
dedicated to each service, so it provides cost reduction.
In addition, its modular structure enables continuous
addition of new functions. Our main customers are big
ISPs and we are focusing on PR showing off features like
high performance process, passive mirroring installation
and other various functions.
The commercial products based on ARA-NMP include ARA-PPTM
and ARA-TS. ARA-PPTM implements efficient network management
by protecting Internet from P2P traffic increase and it
provides other detail network information to customers
via a traffic report. Especially, it's excellent in terms
of processing performance and control, compared to other
QoS or L7 equipments. Our main customers are big ISPs
and cable service providers leasing lines from ISPs. Our
solution fits best to the network where network expansion
to cope with traffic increase doesn't guarantee better
performance because of its P2P traffic which has higher
priority than other normal data traffic.
ARA-TS can separately control messenger, web mail, web
site, and other application programs by a user and it
can completely block any accesses via proxy or other detouring
methods (HTTP Tunnel). Big enterprises and laboratories
are also our customers, and they can strictly manage Internet
usage of their employees such as blocking access to other
web sites during working hour and blocking harmful information
for an education network. In addition, it basically provides
all the functions of ARA-PPTM. Especially, software development
companies, big enterprises or laboratories where security
is a priority purchased our products.
