ARA Networks, an Internet Traffic Management company, announced that they have developed ARA-PPTM (Peer-to-Peer Traffic Manager) to efficiently control the increasing Peer-to-Peer (P2P) protocol traffic.
ARA PPTM supports most P2P protocols including, eDonkey, WinMX, KaZaA, and Gnutella. It operated in Mirroring mode so that it will not effect the performance and stability of the existing infrastructure, and efficiently contain P2P protocols.
Users and System administrators of ARA-PPTM can monitor the P2P traffic, and apply policies to manage the traffic to optimize their network.
