Suburban Telecom, the largest backbone provider in West Africa selected ARA Networks' Jaguar5000 caching appliances.

Suburban Telecom provides Internet connectivity to regional ISPs and GSM operators such as MTN Nigeria. To save bandwidth and accelerate web access speed on the congested international backbones, Suburban Telecom decided to deploy web acceleration solution, and ARA Networks' Jaguar5000 came to their attention after careful research and survey.

Currently 11 Jaguar5000 appliances are deployed at Suburban Telecom's international backbone gateway. However, the growth of the Internet bandwidth in the region is exponential. And ARA Networks believes the regional will be an important market for network traffic management solutions.
